At Human Rights Justice Council (HRJC), our RTI Advocacy & Assistance Cell is dedicated to educating citizens on their right to ask questions, helping them file accurate applications, and promoting administrative transparency across public departments.

What We Do & Our Core Objectives:

• RTI Application Assistance & Drafting: We guide citizens step-by-step on how to draft precise RTI applications, submit them to correct Public Information Officers (PIOs), and follow up effectively.
• First & Second Appeals Support: When public authorities delay, deny, or provide misleading responses, HRJC assists applicants in drafting and filing First and Second Appeals before Information Commissions.
• Public Awareness & Governance Training: We conduct workshops, legal awareness sessions, and training modules to teach youth, social workers, and common citizens how to use RTI for community welfare and development.
• Exposing Corruption & Malpractice: We utilize RTI mechanisms to uncover irregularities in public welfare schemes, government projects, infrastructure development, and civic amenities.
• Symbol of Civic Unity & Transparency: The circle of united individuals holding hands around the RTI emblem flanked by laurel leaves represents public empowerment, collective strength, democratic transparency, and triumph over administrative opacity.
