Constitutional equality and protection against atrocity are the pillars of a just democratic society. Caste-based discrimination, social marginalization, and atrocities against Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) are severe violations of basic human rights. Ensuring safety, equal opportunity, and legal protection for these communities is essential to upholding constitutional dignity.

At Human Rights Justice Council (HRJC), our SC/ST Legal Protection Cell is committed to safeguarding the rights of SC/ST communities, providing legal aid, and ensuring the strict enforcement of statutory safeguards such as the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

What We Do & Our Core Objectives:

  • Legal Advocacy & Assistance: We provide legal aid and consultation to victims of caste-based discrimination, harassment, and atrocities to ensure proper registration of cases and fair legal representation.
  • Rights & Welfare Awareness: HRJC conducts grassroots awareness drives to educate SC/ST communities about their constitutional protections, legal rights, and government welfare schemes.
  • Action Against Exploitation & Violence: We monitor and intervene in cases of social boycott, land displacement, physical atrocities, and institutional bias, working with enforcement authorities for swift intervention.
  • Promoting Social Harmony & Inclusion: We foster dialogue and social harmony to eliminate caste prejudices, encouraging equal respect, integration, and mutual dignity across all sections of society.
  • Symbol of Empowerment & Justice: The legal gavel, protective palm, united figures, and surrounding laurel wreath in our emblem represent judicial fairness, protection, social solidarity, and victory over injustice.

समानता, न्याय और संरक्षण: HRJC SC/ST कानून एवं संरक्षण विंग

संवैधानिक समानता और उत्पीड़न से सुरक्षा एक न्यायपूर्ण लोकतांत्रिक समाज की बुनियाद है। अनुसूचित जाति (SC) और अनुसूचित जनजाति (ST) समुदायों के खिलाफ जातिगत भेदभाव, सामाजिक उत्पीड़न और अत्याचार केवल कानून का उल्लंघन ही नहीं, बल्कि मौलिक मानवाधिकारों पर आघात हैं। इन वर्गों की सुरक्षा, गरिमा और अधिकारों की रक्षा करना अत्यंत आवश्यक है।

ह्यूमन राइट्स जस्टिस काउंसिल (HRJC) का SC/ST संरक्षण एवं कानूनी विंग अनुसूचित जाति और जनजाति समुदायों के अधिकारों की रक्षा करने, उन्हें कानूनी सहायता प्रदान करने और SC/ST (अत्याचार निवारण) अधिनियम के तहत उचित न्याय दिलाना सुनिश्चित करने के लिए पूरी तरह समर्पित है।

हमारे मुख्य कार्य एवं उद्देश्य:

  • कानूनी सहायता एवं परामर्श: हम जातिगत उत्पीड़न, भेदभाव या अत्याचार के शिकार पीड़ितों को मुफ्त कानूनी सलाह और सहायता प्रदान करते हैं ताकि उन्हें न्याय मिल सके और मामलों की सही जाँच हो।
  • संवैधानिक अधिकार व जागरूकता अभियान: HRJC ज़मीनी स्तर पर जागरूकता अभियान चलाकर SC/ST समुदायों को उनके संवैधानिक अधिकारों, कानूनी प्रावधानों और सरकारी कल्याणकारी योजनाओं की जानकारी प्रदान करता है।
  • उत्पीड़न और भेदभाव के खिलाफ कार्रवाई: सामाजिक बहिष्कार, भूमि बेदखली, हिंसा या भेदभाव के मामलों में हमारी टीम त्वरित हस्तक्षेप करती है और संबंधित प्रशासनिक व पुलिस अधिकारियों के सहयोग से कार्रवाई सुनिश्चित कराती है।
  • सामाजिक समरसता और समानता: हम समाज में जातिगत पूर्वाग्रहों को समाप्त करने और आपसी भाईचारे, समरसता तथा समानता को बढ़ावा देने के लिए निरंतर प्रयासरत हैं।
  • न्याय और सुरक्षा का प्रतीक: हमारे प्रतीक चिह्न में बना 'न्याय का हथौड़ा' (Gavel), 'सुरक्षात्मक हथेली' (Protective Palm), 'एकजुट नागरिक' और 'विजय की पत्तियां'—कानूनी न्याय, सुरक्षा, सामाजिक एकजुटता और अन्याय पर न्याय की जीत का संदेश देते हैं।

जब तक समाज के अंतिम व्यक्ति को सुरक्षा और सम्मान नहीं मिलता, तब तक न्याय अधूरा है। आइए, HRJC के साथ मिलकर भेदभाव-मुक्त और न्यायप्रिय समाज के निर्माण में भागीदार बनें।
